In 2014, the SF2M award the prize Jean Morlet to Astrid Lambert-Perlade (ArcelorMittal R&D, Centre Automotive Products). Astrid had prepare her thesis in the teal of Professeur A. Pineau, too. She viva voce in may 2001.

In 2014, the SF2M award a medal Jean Rist à Fabien Szmytka (PSA Peugeot Citroën), for works around solidification. Fabien had prepare a thesis at LMS (Polytechnique) and at CDM (MINES ParisTech) in team of Luc Rémy. He had viva voce in 2007. He received also the prize Jacques Pomey (SF2M)
